Every sadhana, puja, or prayer should begin with Lord Ganesha’s invocation. By chanting his mantra at the start, obstacles are cleared and divine blessings are invited, making the path ahead smooth

Sanskrit (Devanāgarī):

ॐ वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

Simple phonetic:

Om Vakratunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samaprabha Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva Karyeshu Sarvada

English, this mantra is saying: O Lord Ganesha, with your curved trunk and mighty form, shining like countless suns, please remove all the obstacles from my path in whatever I do, always.

गणेश स्तुति

ॐ गण गणपतये नमो नमः ।

श्रीसिद्धिविनायकाय नमः ।

अष्टविनायकाय नमः ।

गणपति बाप्पा मोरया ॥

Simple phoentic:

Om Gan Ganapataye Namo Namah

Shri Siddhi Vinayaka Namo Namah

Ashta Vinayaka Namo Namah

Ganapati Bappa Morya

Meaning in English:

I bow to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.

Reverence to Siddhi Vinayaka, the giver of success.

Salutations to the eight forms of Vinayaka.

Beloved Father Ganesha, be with us always.
